Wow, I’d say that I’ve never been more intimidated by a blank page, but I’ve written a master’s thesis - BLANK PAGE HELL.

In a nutshell: My housemates (hereafter referred to as The Dementors) desperately want to evict me from their house (Azkaban, heh). Actually, they originally wanted to have me arrested for trespassing (mid-September), but when they found out I’d been posting on FB about this (I called Mr. Dementor a dick…not my smartest moment) AND that I’d contacted the police and a local Tenant Resource Center, they had to change their approach. Legally, I’m considered a tenant-at-will (sort of). Since they changed the wireless password (landlord retaliation anyone?) and took back the laptop they’d lent me, I’ve been in limbo. But this morning, a nice elderly gentleman came into my bedroom to serve me with an official 28 day notice of termination of tenancy at will. This is only a precursor to eviction.

I will explain more behind the cut, but here’s the punchline: To apply for YWCA single women housing, as a stop-gap between my current living situation and a more permanent option that I’ve applied for, I need $890 dollars as soon as humanly possible.
